Our People

The right people around the table.

“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisors they succeed.”Proverbs 15:22

Public Figure Agency brings together advisors with experience across strategic communications, public affairs, journalism, publishing, entertainment, politics and business.

We assemble the right people around each client to define what they uniquely know, turn it into intellectual capital, and build the strategy, vehicles and campaigns that carry their authority into influence.

Torund Bryhn

Founder, Public Figure Agency

Torund Bryhn is a strategic communications advisor and the founder of Public Figure Agency. Her work centers on the public figure: how leaders are built, how influence is created, and how a person’s presence expands the circle of people who know them, trust them, and act on what they know.

Her career has spanned entertainment, politics, government, nonprofit, corporate, and public affairs. Across those fields, the constant has been the person: how a leader’s profile and presence can strengthen an organization, shape an industry, or move a public conversation.

Her studies in strategic communication at Columbia University, together with her publicist certification from the Institute of Media and Entertainment, transformed that experience into a method. The disciplines of entertainment, politics, and academia converged into a single approach that became the foundation of her work in the United States and Norway.

Torund founded Public Figure Agency to bring the disciplines long understood in politics and entertainment into business and professional life. At PFA, she helps CEOs, executives, founders, and experts turn what they know into intellectual capital, authority, and influence.

Christine Leninger

Strategic Advisor, Authorship

Christine Leninger brings more than 20 years of experience across global corporate documentation, operations, and independent book publishing to Public Figure Agency. As a strategic advisor, she guides clients through the full process of bringing their expertise to life through a book, from concept and manuscript to publication and promotion.

As founder of Lupi Docs & Designs, Christine has built the network and infrastructure behind that process: trusted partners in editing, design, and marketing who ensure every book is done right. She brings that same structure to PFA’s clients, with a focus on turning business expertise into a book that serves as a calling card, an entry point to the stage, and a foundation for thought leadership.

For PFA’s clients, Christine ensures the book is not simply written. It is built to work as a strategic asset.

Karin Crawford

Strategic Advisor, Podcast to Television

Karin Crawford is a strategic advisor to the Public Figure Agency, focused on helping podcasters and public figures move from audio to television. As founder of BloomingVoices TV, she builds the systems and readiness creators need to take existing content from podcast to screen.

She works as a television matchmaker, connecting clients with the right production partners, from Roku and Fire TV to national networks and cable, so a body of work can be transformed and multiplied into television format. Her background as The Tech Gardener, including her work with TCO Technology and nearly two decades owning a floral concierge business, is the practical side of that work: she sits with the creator, learns the goals and the gaps, vets the options, and plants the right technical and production roots before the leap is made.

At the Public Figure Agency, Karin gives clients a clear path from podcast to television: higher production, larger reach, and a public presence that is no longer confined to one format.

Yamilca is also a professor at the University of Louisville, where she teaches design thinking, as well as a TEDx speaker and bestselling author. She brings particular expertise in assessment and the use of artificial intelligence in identity work.
